TRICK OR TREAT MEMORIES

When the stars descend upon All Hallow’s Eve

I don my witch hat and take my leave

On the street I march with friends in tow

Under pools of moonlight; we don’t go slow

Pumpkins on front steps; we chant “Trick or Treat!”

How many Snickers? How many Jolly Ranchers?

Costumed friends and I reach home with a smile

And to eat a ton of treats – well. . . it takes a while!
